What is Lantana Recovery?
Lantana Recovery is an alcohol and drug rehab offering ethical and comprehensive treatment to individuals suffering from addiction.
Services offered by Lantana
Our primary drug and alcohol rehab program provides structured and intensive addiction treatment for those who require more support than outpatient rehab but do not require 24-hour medical care.
Every individual’s treatment team includes a licensed medical professional, a licensed therapist, and a peer support specialist who acts as a case manager.
Our program has an optional housing component for clients who are not local to Charleston, SC or New Milford, CT.
Our family program is designed to help loved ones better understand addiction and provide support to those in recovery, through counseling sessions and educational workshops.
Our family program provides a safe and welcoming space for families to come together and share their experiences, challenges, and successes. Through group discussions, peer support, and experiential activities, families can develop a deeper understanding of addiction and the impact it has on the family system.
Our individual counseling sessions are a core component of our comprehensive approach to addiction treatment. Our experienced and compassionate therapists work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
Through individual counseling, clients have the opportunity to explore the underlying issues that contribute to their addiction, such as past trauma, mental health conditions, or relationship problems. Our therapists use evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help clients develop new skills and coping strategies.
Our group counseling sessions are an integral part of our addiction treatment program at Lantana Recovery. We believe that the power of a supportive community cannot be overstated when it comes to overcoming addiction. Our experienced therapists lead these sessions, providing guidance and facilitating open and honest communication among participants.
Group counseling offers a unique opportunity for clients to connect with others who are going through similar struggles. Participants can share their experiences, challenges, and successes with one another, creating a sense of empathy and mutual support. Hearing others’ perspectives can be enlightening and help clients gain new insights into their own addiction and recovery process.
At Lantana Recovery, we recognize that medication can be an important tool in supporting addiction recovery. Our medication management program is designed to help our clients safely and effectively manage medication use as part of their overall treatment plan.
Our licensed medical professionals are highly trained in addiction medicine and have extensive experience working with individuals in recovery. They work closely with clients to assess their medication needs and develop a personalized treatment plan that takes into account their unique medical history, substance use patterns, and treatment goals.
Lantana Recovery offers safe, medically supervised withdrawal management to help individuals detox from drugs and alcohol with comfort and care.”
At Lantana Recovery, we understand that not everyone can put their life on hold to attend inpatient rehab. Our outpatient rehab program is designed to provide flexible and accessible treatment options for clients who require more flexibility in their recovery journey.
Our outpatient program offers a range of evidence-based treatments, including individual counseling, group therapy, medication management, and specialized programming for co-occurring disorders. Our experienced team of addiction professionals works with clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their specific needs and goals.
Lantana Recovery’s residential treatment program offers full-day clinical care paired with the option to stay in a local sober living home. This hybrid model provides structure, accountability, and real-world support—helping clients build strong foundations for lasting recovery without being confined to a 24-hour inpatient facility.
Lantana Recovery’s medication assisted treatment (MAT) program combines FDA-approved medications with therapy to treat opioid and alcohol use disorders. This evidence-based approach helps reduce cravings, manage withdrawal symptoms, and support long-term recovery as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Lantana Recovery connects clients with trusted sober living homes to provide safe, structured housing during or after treatment. This supportive environment reinforces accountability, routine, and peer connection—helping individuals build stability and maintain momentum in early recovery.

Life at Lantana Recovery
Inside Lantana Recovery

History
Lantana Recovery was founded in 2018 by partners Dominic Rosa, Eric Carver and Warren Phillips, when they recognized that the Charleston, S.C. area offered an abundance of resources for individuals in early recovery from substance use disorder, yet did not offer many support services.
Philosophy
Lantana Recovery, created by a group of individuals in long-term recovery from Substance Use Disorders, was born out of a belief that community-based integrative treatment, based on empowerment, gives clients the best chance for achieving sustained recovery.
Research shows that a long-term continuum of care is critical in order for treatment to be effective.
