Empowerment Program
The Empowerment Program is the core program offered at Lantana Recovery. It is a phased integrative care model of treatment for Men and Women. All clients in the Empowerment Program reside in our recovery residences and participate in clinical treatment at the Lantana Recovery facility in downtown Charleston. Clients are provided multilayered structure and holistic support as they earn increased autonomy by gradually moving through program phases.
The Empowerment Program is different by design. Instead of attending treatment in a remote location then returning home, clients are able to develop coping skills and address clinical needs while remaining in the Charleston community and utilizing the same community support that will be available once the client finishes treatment. In addition to clinical care, Empowerment Program clients also participate in a variety of recreational and experiential activities, taking full advantage of all the Lowcountry has to offer.
While in the Empowerment Program, each client has an individualized treatment team, consisting of a Primary Therapist, Psychiatrist, Case Manager and Recovery Coaches.
Phase I
The purpose of Phase I is stabilization and orientation. Phase I contains the highest level of accountability and structure. The primary focus during Phase I is clinical work and beginning to integrate into the local recovery community. Phase I clients participate in clinical services during the day, attend community recovery support meetings in the evenings, and take part in community based recreation activities on the weekends.
Phase II
The purpose of Phase II is integration. During this phase, clinical services decrease and community services increase. Phase II clients participate in clinical services during the morning, participate in community based activities in the afternoon, attend community recovery support meetings in the evenings, and take part in community based recreation activities on the weekends.
