Erika Ford

Group Facilitator

Erika Ford graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business Management pursuing a career in Retail Management until the toll of long unfulfilling work hours guided her into a new direction of health and wellness.  It was at this time that Erika first experienced the magic of breathing and focused breathwork.  It wasn’t until 2017, while working in a middle school, that she would discover the profound impact yoga and mindfulness would have on kids (and herself) suffering from anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression.

During Covid, Erika enrolled in her first of many Yoga Teacher Training certifications and continues to be the student.  She left her full-time job in education to create Freckled Bloom Yoga, a mobile studio, with the goal to bring tools of resilience to those who are unable to attend a traditional brick and mortar yoga studio.  Weekly, Erika partners with individuals, recovery centers, schools, non-profits, as well as community centers to share tools of resilience through movement and sound healing while remaining INCLUSIVE, ADAPTABLE, AND ACCESSIBLE through trauma informed practices.

Erika is living her dharma, purpose with a passion, through this fulfilling work while reminding everyone along the way that, “You are Enough”, encouraging clients to feel worthy.  When not on her mat, Erika is outdoors tuning into the collective vibration of nature and likely to be found talking to the animals.
