Cheryl Vanase is the Clinical Director of Lantana Recovery Connecticut where she is responsible for guiding clinical staff to excel as top treatment providers and provide transformative individual and group therapy to help clients stabilize, overcome barriers, and align with their best path forward.
As a Licensed Psychotherapist, Cheryl joins Lantana Recovery with over nineteen years of experience working in the field, including 10 years of successfully owning and operating a private practice. Her professional experience includes clinical positions at a renowned Psychiatric Hospital, an intensive Addiction and Detox unit, a Crisis Stabilization Program, several community mental health agencies, group homes, acute clinical shelters, and school departments.
Cheryl’s approach to clinical programming weaves ancient and modern modalities with her love for clinical research to offer clients evidence-based techniques that help individuals explore and discover their authentic selves and sustain mastery of health and happiness. She specializes in Holistic Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Trauma, Addiction and Recovery, Mood Disorders and Attachment Disorders, Spirituality, Ecotherapy, Expressive Arts, Yoga, Life-Coaching, and Conscious Lifestyling.
When Cheryl is not helping others from a place of heart-centered service, she is spending time with her family. She loves gardening, anything in Nature- hiking in the woods or being on the beach, homemaking, reading, baking or making art and candles in her apothecary with her stepson, foraging, and yoga.
